Touched Twice is a Christ-centered, faith-based organization that strives to bring healing
and peace to our community. At Touched Twice, our goal is to meet our neighbors' most
pressing physical needs, while at the same time meeting their most immediate spiritual needs.
Touched Twice runs several clinics throughout the year. To meet our neighbors' needs, we
mobilize volunteers from local Louisville churches. Volunteers include licensed healthcare
professionals, pastors, families, and regular church members.
Like the blind man Jesus healed, people often need more than one touch to be made whole.
After meeting our neighbors' direct physical needs, we touch them a second time with
volunteer Advocates who share love, concern, and the Good News that we are all children
of a loving God who wants to be in a relationship with us – to bridge the gap that sin causes.
Whenever possible, we connect them with a neighborhood church.

To meet physical needs we:
- diagnose and treat disease
- offer medical screenings
- give vision care
- provide dental work
- offer life-skills counseling
- offer chiropractic care and physical therapy

To meet spiritual needs we:
- provide prayer
- lead worship
- offer Christian counseling
- provide pastoral teaching
- give literature and Bibles
- share the Gospel

In addition to the above, we also provide free food
(warm meal and pantry items) and clothing.
We want to help everyone enjoy the abundant life that Jesus promises His followers.
